Competition Results
This morning we had ten ECSC members turn up for our monthly gallery rifle and pistol competition. The mornings competition was the challenging enough Multi-Target (MT). Pistol targets were placed one above the other and rifle targets side by side. Our first target was at 25mts, six shots to be taken on the left hand or top target in fifteen seconds. Next up was the 20mts line, this time three shots on each target in ten seconds followed by the 15mts line where the target made three appearances and we shot two shots in three seconds with intervals of five seconds at each appearance. The last targets at the 10mts line required us to shoot three shots into two targets in eight seconds. The HPS being 120.012. We had eleven entries across five disciplines. My thanks to Ed P for assisting me in with the RO-ing.
The small-bore pistol open sighs (SBP) honours went to Paul F with Cathal C taking first place with his ‘red dot’ in the any sights (OSBP). Well-done all.
The ECSC committee at our last meeting decided to put a last entry time on the monthly club competition to allow other members to have use of the pistol range after the competition. The last entry time set is 12:30hrs. For this reason, I am moving the start time from 10:30hrs to 10.00hrs to give our shotgun members first preference on the first detail.

I wish to thank everyone who turned up to shoot what was a very enjoyable competition. Our next monthly competition shoot will be on the 26th September 2021 with first shots off at 10:00hrs.
