August Update(A little late!)

August was a busy month during which we ran the NASRPC open shoot featuring Prone and Bench rest Rifle,Gallery Rifle and Pistol competitions, open to all licenced shooters who wished to take part. We also took part in two open competitions run at two other Clubs. All of this meant that we have not published our usual club competition results.

We did facilitate Target Shooting Ireland to run their 50 metre Prone competition on our range. Results are on the TSI web site here

Range Upgrades.

We are upgrading our Rifle range to make target changing more convenient by installing gravel paths and clearing up excess vegetation growth at the sides. We are depending on the availability of contractors who have been very busy during the good spell of weather. We are keeping members up to date by email and have managed to keep the Rifle range open from most positions so far this month,.

We are also upgrading the interior of the Rifle Range by providing top class Rifle and accessory racks for use by members whilst on the range. Pictures will follow when this project is completed..
