An Experiment on a new Cross over format !
Some of us are used to the rules for ISSF versus local Sporting Rifle which are getting increasingly blurred, so we thought we would try a crossover format allowing both types of rifles to be used in one competition. We are holding this competition on Saturday the
9th July at the ECSC range in Roundwood. Rules follow. Please message us here or press the contact button to register for more information.
East Coast crossover shoot
Attached you will find the format for the any sight any rifle shoot on Saturday 9th July.
This shoot has many purposes, and we hope to make it a regular feature of the calendar.
Some, but not all are as follows, not necessarily in order of importance.
To encourage new and upcoming shooters to take part in a competition atmosphere and become more involved in club activities and gain experience before taking part in outside competitions.
Stimulate perhaps? a friendly rivalry between sections.
Interest shooters in all aspects of the sport.
As the NSRA and indeed the ISSF include more F Class type and any sight competitions to give opportunity to all to shoot in overseas competitions.
As the age profile increases, we need to offer all opportunities possible.
