Gallery Rifle and Pistol Monthly Report 29th Oct 2023
Fourteen ECSC members turned up for the October gallery rifle and pistol competition. The weather was overcast with downpours now and again during the matches. It was a good turnout considering the weather. We had our pistol range leveled and this was a great bonus, no more waterlogged areas to negotiate. All weather wear was a must though, on the morning.
The course of fire on the morning was the ‘much-loved’ TP1, shot from 25mts, 15mts and 10mts with the highest possible score of 300.030. We had twenty-four entries across four disciplines. Rex C took honours in the SBP and the GRSB events. Sean McE won the OSBP event, with Cathal C winning the CFP event. A big thanks to Hugh D, Ewa Z and Eddie K for helping with the ROing and Marie F for the administration. Results below.
A special thank you to everyone who turned up to make this a competitive and enjoyable shoot. Our next monthly competition will be held on the 26th of November 2023. It will be the MT format with first shots off at 10:00. Looking forward to seeing you all again.
