PISTOL COMPETITION REPORT
29th May 2016.
Beautiful weather greeted the shooters for this the fifth competition of the year. This probably explained our highest entry to date at nineteen total. Also we had a very high entry of centrefire shooters to keep the upward trajectory going in that category, great to see you guys out on the range!!
Thanks to all who attended and contributed to the competitive yet friendly atmosphere of the range all morning. Also thanks to Tommy and Dave for assisting with RSO duties and Frank for scoring while the shoot was underway. This allowed a quick production of the results. This mornings’ competition used the T&P 1 Format and was shot single-handed at 25m, 15m and 10m with a HPS of 300. The average score was actually quite good in my view so well done to all for the good performances. Congratulations to Dave C for his win in the rimfire section and to Frank B. for holding onto the centrefire category for the third month in a row!!
The next competition will be held on Sunday 26th June 2016 at the Club, first shots off at 1030 a.m.
