Colin Legge Memorial Shoot/ Sunday 22nd September 2024.

We were delighted to hold a 25 Bird Down The Line Competition this Sunday, in honour of our member, Colin Legge who passed away last year. Colin was one of the club’s stalwarts and was present every Sunday to manage the office and oversee the Clay Pigeon competitions. We all still miss him. Each time I go into the office early on a Sunday morning, I expect to see him sitting there. He would appreciate that the best way to honour him was to have an annual competition in his name.

21 members took part in the competition and many more came along to watch. It is fitting that the winner of the shoot was Konrad T. who has taken over Colin’s role as offfice manager and that the second place went to Oskar T., Konrad’s son, who is following in his father’s footsteps. Thank you to all who came along and to Tony K who ran the competition.
