PISTOL COMPETITION
31 st January 2016.
This morning saw a very good turnout of twelve entries to compete in our monthly pistol shoot. This mornings’ shoot used the NRA Slow Fire format and was shot at 15metres range, single handed. The weather was very windy which challenged single handed shooting.
Thanks to all who took the trouble to travel and compete my special thanks to Maurice and Kevin for standing in and conducting the shoot for me, much appreciated!!
Congrats to Sean Mac. on his win, recording an excellent score with some tidy shooting in windy conditions. Congrats also to Dave C. on his centrefire win!
The next competition will be held on Sunday 28 February 2016 at the Club, first shots off 1030.a.m.
