Pistol Competition Report: July 2015
We got a remake of autumn this morning with dark sky, low cloud and persistent drizzle all morning!! This didn’t prevent a good turn-out from the members. Well done to all nine who competed in such good humour and made it a very enjoyable morning on the range. Thanks to Anthony who substituted for me as RSO and kept things going as well as scoring the cards from the second detail while the third and final detail was shooting – all helps to speed up the production of the final scores and results.
The shoot format this month was the standard NRA 15Metre competition, ‘modified’ to be shot at 25Metres, with two-handed shooting allowed.
The next competition will be held on Sunday 30th August 2015 at the Club, first shots off at 1030 a.m.
