Pistol Competition Report: March 2015
This month’s competition was conducted in some fairly brisk and wet weather but nevertheless the faithful pistol shooters turned up in very good numbers once again, with this month’s centre fire section making a strong showing. Maurice kindly conducted the whole event and a very healthy number competed. My thanks to him and his helpers for their kind assistance.
This month’s shoot was just for pistols with no gallery rifle section but there we will return to an inclusive format next month for all to enjoy. The format used was NRA Slow Fire 15 Metre using NRA targets. The results are copied below with the rim-fire section result being won by Dave who once again demonstrated very good shooting skills for the second month running, well done!! The centre-fire category was won by Cathal, congratulations!
My thanks to all who turned up, it’s good for you and the club! The next competition will be held on Sunday 29th April 2015 at the Club, first shots off at 1030 a.m.
