Monthly Club Pistol Competition September 24th.

PISTOL COMPETITION REPORT

24th September 2017.

A good turnout to-day well up to scratch with twelve entries, thank you all for making the range come alive and enjoying yourselves in the process!

For this months’ shoot we used the NASRPC Multi Target Format and targets, shooting double-handed at 25, 20, 15 and 10 metres range. This competition is shot over four matches, in the approved Multi-target format. The shoot requires 24 rounds and the HPS is 240.

Well done to Bronagh M., shooting in her first competition, who won the rimfire competition with 91 – a great score. Second place went to yours truly who posted a score of 89. Third place was Cathal C. at 77 points. Hugh D. took the honours in the centrefire competition with 91 points, ahead of Cathal C. and Dave C. both shooting 85’s but being separated on scores countback, the former having more 4’s. A tight finish.

The next competition will be held on Sunday 29th October 2017 at the Club, first shots off at 10.30a.m.

Looking forward to seeing you all next month at the club!
