Any Rim fire .22 rifle Sporting or Target. No high velocity ammunition .22 rim fire only.
SIGHTS. Any sight iron sights /open/ scope
Rested (A)Bipod and Rear bag. (B)Front and rear bag. “A competitor may elect to shoot without a rear rest/bag if they so wish.”
A competitor may choose to shoot with a jacket and sling if they wish.
FOR THIS THE LAST SHOOT OF THE 2023 SEASON ALL COMPETITORS WILL be allowed SHOOT RESTED.
No Full Length /Sled / Micro adjustable bench type rests. No joysticks

6 bull 50 Mtr Card, unlimited sighters and 20 shots to count on each card 5 shots per scoring bull.

3 bull 100 yard unlimited sighters and 20 shots to count on each 10 per scoring bull.

The course of fire based on the use of 7 firing points with a 10 am start.
Max shooters on the day will be 14 so we will squad the details and pre reg will be required.
Detail 1— Relays 1and 2 will be shot at 50 Mtr —- Relay 3 at 100 100 yds
Detail 2– Relays 1 and 2 shot at 50 Mtr—–Relay 3 100 yds
(A 3RD DETAIL May be shot if there are sufficient entries )
20 mins per card 10 mins changeover.
Detail 1 commences at 10.00 and ends 11.30.
Detail 2 commences 11.45 ends 13.15
Please ensure you are on the range 30 minutes before your detail time.

1st 2nd 3rd overall 1st 50 mtr 1st100yard. Where the overall winners are also the 1st in Distance the prize will go to the next highest in that category. Prize for best newcomer
Depending on entry and discipline spread extra prizes may be awarded on the day.
Entry Fee €10 to cover targets Prizes and Tea and Cakes.
This is the 6 th shoot of this format and is the final shoot for the 2023 season I am sure all will agree that is has been successful and fun. We will continue the format in the 2024 season , the rules may change to make it more interesting and fairer also to level the playing field and more fun. We hope as we go forward to attract more entries and allow all shooters gain the most enjoyment and competition experience before they attend at opens and other club shoots.
This is a competition day and firing points 1 through 7 will be in use from 10.00 to 13.15 and, possibly to 14.30 if we have a 3rd detail.
However, points 9 10 11 will be available for use by members during the competition subject to competition timing and control by the range officer.
From competition end to 15.00 the range will be available Subject to range officers being available.
This is the last available Saturday of the season so we would invite members to avail of the opportunity for some practice.
