PISTOL COMPETITION REPORT
26th June 2016.
Weather was not so good to-day resulting in a trial by rain for the June competition!! Nevertheless a good number of members turned up to fire in the monthly competition. My thanks to all who attended and contributed to the competition and also to Maurice and Kevin who conducted the event yet again. This mornings’ competition used the T&P 1 Format and was shot double-handed for a change, but with the added challenge that all stages were shot at 25 metres!
Congratulations to Frank B. for his double section win, fourth month in a row for the centre-fire category. Sean gave him a run for the win in the rim-fire category only thirteen points adrift and an ‘X’ countback was needed to separate fourth and fifth places.
The next competition will be held on Sunday 31st July 2016 at the Club, first shots off at 1030 a.m.
