PISTOL COMPETITION REPORT 3rd April 2016
Due to planning permission restrictions there was NO shoot in March over Easter Weekend so the March shoot was conducted to-day, with Maurice standing in for the undersigned to act as RSO. Many thanks Maurice and also to Mark O’ for couriering the targets and score sheets to the range for me!!
The weather turned grim but it didn’t wipe out the interest and a good number of members turned up to shoot in both rimfire and centrefire categories.
This mornings’ competition used the T&P1 (Modified) format and was shot at 10, 15 and 25metres range, double-handed, following requests from the members. The average score improved considerably so well done all for the good performances.
Congrats to Frank on his double win in both categories, recording excellent scores with some tidy shooting. Also of note is the tight competition for third and fourth places in the rimfire category, and also second place in the centrefire category – no pressure on the scorers, then??!!!
The next competition will be held on Sunday 24th April 2016 at the Club, first shots off at 1030 a.m.
