June Pistol Competition report

The June Pistol competition was held on 30th June and was a 25 m precision discipline. It was a dry day with no wind and shot from inside the hut. We had 16 shooters and 30 entries. The SBP was won by C.C., the GRSB was won by R.C., while the OSBP was a close-run thing with F.B. edging out E.K. by 2 xs on a count back. Congratulations to all. Results shown in the table below.

I’m glad to say that this month went off with no problems, shooters had all their own gear and scored and changed targets in a timely manner. Hopefully people are getting used to what is required and expected from them on a competition day and if they go on to shoot NASRPC competitions or shoot competitions on any other range they will know what to do. So thank you for that.

The range still needs some work to be done so there is a work detail on Saturday July 6th to get the range completed for our own safety, comfort and enjoyment but also ready for the upcoming NASRPC competition in August for which we want the ranges to be looking their best. So if you are free please call in to help. If we don’t get the work finished on Saturday there will be no shooting on the pistol range until it is deemed to be safe to do so.

The next Pistol competition is due to be held on July 28th T & P 1
