Gallery Rifle and Pistol Monthly report 26th July 2020
Our first gallery rifle and pistol competition since the lockdown took place last Sunday morning on our newly refurbished all weather pistol range. Our range now allows our shooters to walk towards the targets on sunny days and when it rains we can enjoy the comforts of shelter while shooting. The morning’s format was the T&P1 target shot at 25mts, 15mts and 10mts with the HPS being 300.030. The sun came out to greet the thirteen East Coast Shooting Club members who turned up for the inaugural shoot on our new range. We had twenty-two entries across six disciplines. My thanks to Paul F and Declan K for taking over as Ro’s allowing me to shoot.
Honours went to Anthony F in the small-bore pistol iron sights (SBP) with Sean Mc taking first place in the OSBP event. Paul F won the gallery rifle event and Hugh D took first place in the CF Pistol. Results below.
Our next monthly competition shoot will be on the 30th August. The shoot will be something new and challenging. It will be shot over four distances 25m, 20m, 15m and 10m with first shots off at 10:30.
