The Sunday Blog 29th May
A glorious day on the range in Roundwood. All sections were very active. Starting with the first detail of clay pigeon shooters as they prepared to head out to test their instincts, speed and skills against targets moving at over 100kph.
Next up were the early arrivals on the sporting rifle range, ready to establish their zeros.
Shortly afterwards, the first detail in the monthly pistol competition kicked off. The results are shown in the “news” section but the following photos show them getting ready to compete and then going forward to see how they did. We call this the “wailing wall” for some of them.
Here is the scorer, resisting all attempts to influence the results.
Finally, the “eminence grise” behind the administration of the club every Sunday, Colin, patiently handling all queries and winges. We would be lost without him.
