Pistol Competition Report: August 2015
Summer came back to the range to-day, warm and bright, sunny skies and not a breath of a wind!! This all probably encouraged what was the best turn-out from the members at a monthly shoot with twenty entries altogether, across both rim fire and centrefire disciplines. Thanks to all who competed and in such good humour and made it another very enjoyable morning on the range. Thanks again to Anthony who substituted for me as RSO and kept things going as well as scoring the cards which all helps to speed up the production of the final scores and results.
The shoot format this month was the standard NRA 15 Metre competition and was shot single-handed. Congratulations to Dave who shot really well in BOTH categories, ultimately winning each, great effort!!
The next competition will be held on Sunday 27th. September 2015 at the Club, first shots off at 1030 a.m.
