Monthly Rifle Competition. September 7th 2025.

 

This competition took place on our range on Sunday 25th September. Conditions were reasonable although the wind was gusting occasionaly.Some competitors shot Prone rested with a bipod or bag at the front and a bag at the rear. Hugh D shot in his usual position of prone, unrested but with a sling. Hugh deserves praise for continuing to use this “Olympic” style position in the face of all these high Tech bipods. Other competitors shot sitting at a bench which is inherently  more stable and comfortable than the prone position. Results are shown below.
