Monthly Rifle Competition. June1st 2025.

A lovely day to be on our idyliic range as Spring turns to Summer. Warm, balmy winds, a short sprinkle of a shower and good company all around.  We shot our usual monthly Rifle competition,  20 shots at 50 metres and 20 shots at a 100 metres. There were 3 classes in operation, prone rested, prone with a sling,  and Bench rested. Results  are shown below. Also shown in the photographs below is an old Target shooting Jacket from the 1950’s still in use by one of our members. If you look closely at the badges on the back of this jacket, you will see that it was first used in 1950! It was gifted to the member by the widow of the orginal owner in the UK in 1998.
