Inter Club Pistol Competition.
We have been approached to run an inter club pistol competition between East Coast and CIPC Wexford on the 11 March 2018 starting at 1030. This date should work well as it falls exactly midway between the two monthly competitons in February and March.
It will be shot over two formats which haven’t been decided yet and should be finished by 1230hrs or so. It will be a .22″ competition only as CIPC haven’t many centrefires. Draft Rules below.
Prizes will be individual gold silver bronze ECSC medals with an overall Inter Club Trophy for the winning club which CIPC are assembling.
You are invited to take part and pass the word to any other pistol shooters who might be able to participate. Please reply to Paul F. with your availability, thanks,

For further details contact your Competitions Officer.
The Fine Print:
-
For individual prizes in each category, the total score will be the total of all the shooters competition targets on the day.
-
Each club can field as many shooters as it wants.
-
For each category, only a matching number of shooters from each club will count towards the overall score for the Shield, eg; if Club A has 8 shooters and Club B has 9 shooters, only the 8 highest scoring shooters from Club B will be counted.
-
The overall score for the club will be the total of the matched shooters scores from each of the categories.
-
In the event of a tie in overall club scores, the winning club will be decided by countback (ie; number of tens scored by the matched shooters from each club).
-
The hosting club will provide the targets and Range Officers for their event, and decide the event format which will be run according to their club, range and competition rules.
-
Any proceeds from entry fees after target & prize expenses will be split between both clubs.
-
It is the winning clubs responsibility to have the shield engraved before the following years shoot.
