February Pistol Shoot Report
PISTOL COMPETITION REPORT.
28th FEBRUARY.
Fine, cold but clear weather brought a record number of shooters out to the range with eighteen entries recorded in total. This mornings’ shoot used the T&P1 (Modified) format and was shot at 10, 15 and 25 metres range, single handed.
Thanks to all who took the trouble to travel and compete. My special thanks to Cathal for standing in as RSO and allowing me to shoot , much appreciated!
Congrats to Sean Mac on his second win in a row, recording an excellent score with some tidy shooting. Congrats also to Frank B. on his centrefire win , and Cathal C. for a most respectable second place on his first outing with a new rimfire!
The next competition will be held on Sunday 03 rd April April 2016 at the Club, first shots at 1030 a.m. The format will be the same as todays ,shot two -handed. Rifle Competition also, so bring your long guns with you!!
THERE WILL BE NO SHOOT ON EASTER SUNDAY 27 MARCH 2016 DUE THE RANGE BEING CLOSED. Happy Easter and see you on the range!!
