ECSC win back the KEIL Trophy!

This trophy has been eagerly contested between the major shooting clubs for 20 years. The clubs who most often won it were the ECSC and the BRC. Courtlough won it for the previous two years but now it has returned to the people who most appreciate it, the ECSC. The rules have varied a little from year to year but it usually a combination of a prone rifle discipline and 20 silhouettes. The scoring is often close and this year’s results show that again. This year’s team consisted of Hugh D, Nicholas F and Sean Mc.

A big thank you to all of our members and friend from other clubs who helped us run the Open Competition. To all of the RO’s who helped run the ranges, thank you. To all of the people who handled the office work of registration, entering results and general admin, thank you. To all the club members who keep the grounds and building looking well, thank you.

Results – ECSC – August 2024

Thanks to East Coast Shooting Club for hosting yet another fantastic event. The facility was looking great as always, featuring a freshly remodelled pistol range. We witnessed numerous personal bests throughout the event, all thanks to the splendid weather.

East Coast also hosted the Keil Cup event, clinching victory with a four-point lead in the 50m Prone results and a two-point advantage in the Metallic Silhouettes. This brought their total score to 864 points, to Courtlough’s 840.
