Cross Over Shoot Results 23rd August 2025.
The final Cross Over competition of 2025 took place on our range on Saturday the 23rd of August The format was a mix of Imperial and Metric with 20 shots on the 4 bull target at 50 Metres and 40 shots on two of the 10 bull targets at 100 yards.. This was designed to confuse the newer or younger shooters who have never shot on UK based targets.(only joking,the 100 yard targets were to hand). Conditions were good with some mirage at 100 yards. We allowed any type of rifle and any position so that the rifles used varied from Sporters to full blown Olympic target rifles. We also allowed any position so some shot bench rested and some prone with bipod. The results do not distinguish between type of rifle or position. Congratulations to the top three scores who received Crystal Glass prizes.The usual lunch of top class pastries and tea or coffee was provided.
We thank all competitors who took part in these competitions throughout the year and look forward to a repeat of the series next year. Results and pics of the event are shown below.
