Cross Over Shoot. 50/100 yards. Sunday 19th July 2025

 

Hi All. Thank you for taking part in the Crossover Shoot last Saturday .

There was a reasonable  turn out for a most enjoyable match . Some of the participants also took part in the Pistol Range Work Party which was restocking the back stop with Sand, a labour intesive job even though assisted by a tractor and a tracked crawler dumper truck. A special thank you to all who took part.

The results are shown below. A “P” in the score means that it was shot prone. A “B” in the score means it was shot from the bench.

A special congratulations goes to Sean M. who used his newly developed Field Sporter which he developed from an older Anschutz Rifle. Both he and the rifle perfomed very well on the day, winning him first place.

Next shoot scheduled for 23 august 2025  ..

As it will be the final  cross over shoot this year, we may vary the format to make it as enjoyable as possible.

There was very little in the scores on the day, so it was a close fought thing in the end .
