Monthly Sporting Rifle Report -Sunday 5th November 2023.

There were no fireworks today, on or off the range. It was a mild day with  little breeze,  an inoffensive day in every way. Our members clearly agreed with this and very many of them turned up to shoot, in all disciplines. All of our ranges were busy, Shotgun, Pistol, Archery and Rifle. Some people had to wait a few minutes to get on the firing line at the peak time, between 11:00 and 12:30 but they all enjoyed their shooting. Two Rifle competitions were run, the usual Prone FSPR and Standing 50 metre Precision. Your author intended to shoot both but could only manage one because of looking after visitors to our range who are always welcome. The results are shown in the table below. No photos today but lots of interesting Rifles and kit on display. I promise more pics next month.
