Interclub shoot report CIPC and ECSC Sunday21st July 2019
Today two teams drawn from CIPC in Wexford and East Coast SC met in Diamond Hill for the second leg of their two-part annual pistol shooting challenge. The weather was challenging with gusty winds and occasional light showery conditions prevailing all through the morning. We used a modified NASRPC Timed and Precision 1 format of 60 rounds/HPS 600. Overall winners were CIPC – again – however their captain graciously and correctly pointed out that the standards were improving and the gap between the teams closing every year as East Coast took first in rimfire red dot category and third in the open sights category.
