May Monthly Rifle Competitions Sunday 5th May 2019
It may have been the May bank holiday but that did not stop a dedicated group of serious accuracy fans from competing in the Monthly Rifle Shoot. Conditions were excellent, bright, with a slight steady breeze from the South West. 2 competitions were shot:
- 50 Metre Field sporter. This is shot in the prone position with front and rear rests. It is shot on two cards with a highest possible score of 200 on each card. 20 minutes for each card of 20 shots to score with unlimited sighters The Bullseye is approx 1 CM in diameter.
- 50 Metre Precision. This is shot in the standing unsupported position. One sighting card with unlimited sighters and 3 scoring cards of 10 shots in 3 minutes.
