ECSC success at Ballykinler(N.I.) Full Bore shoot.
ECSC Shooters Cathal C and Sandy W attended the fullbore Irish Open at the Ballykinler ranges in Northern Ireland on the weekend of 23rd – 24th June 2018.
Cathal was shooting in the as-issued Classic Service Rifle class. He was unfortunately not able to repeat the great success he had in this event last year, but nevertheless got creditable 2nd places in the 500 yds, 600 yds and the Aggregate for the Saturday matches.
Sandy shoots the main Target Rifle discipline and was a little luckier, coming first in the initial 300 yds match on the Saturday and the 500 yds match on the Sunday. This won him the Ballykinler Tankard and the R.I.F. Trophy, pictured below:
