Pistol Competition Report: June 2015
We got a beautiful summer’s morning with very bright and sunny conditions today, and a moderate wind which didn’t prevent a good turn-out from the members. My thanks and compliments to all who competed in such good humour and made it a very enjoyable morning on the range. The Gallery Rifle competition wasn’t shot as only two rifles were present. Against this a good centrefire category turned up and got good results.
The shoot started with a full detail and this was followed by a second one of the same with just lonely old me on the third and final detail. Thanks to Dave who supervised me closely as RSO!!
Thanks also to Kevin and Maurice who helped me to compute the score cards, and speeded up the production of the final scores.
The next competition will be held on Sunday 26th July 2015 at the Club, first shots off at 10.30 a.m.
